On or about 06/22/2026, the Elbert County Sheriff's Office issued an Executive Order, modifying the bum restrictions to STAGE II RES1RICTIONS. Based upon recommendations of local Fire Chiefs, and the bum restriction evaluation guideline, it is determined that anincrease from a STAGE I to a STAGE II is warranted.
